MOW Volunteer Drivers

Become a Meals on Wheels (MOW) Volunteer Driver

Are you interested in helping  provide one of the most critical direct services to our community’s elderly  homebound individuals?  Besides providing a hot, well-balanced meal, Meals on Wheels (MOW)  volunteers also provide socialization for these homebound seniors.  The MOW volunteer driver may be the only person a program participant sees during the day.

The Adult Resource Alliance is always in need of Meals on Wheels volunteer drivers, particularly in Billings.  Volunteer drivers meet at 1505 Avenue D or at our Heights location, 935 Lake Elmo Drive, Monday through Friday between 10:00 am and 10:30 am  to pick  up their coolers of food.  Each route takes between one to two hours to complete with each volunteer driver delivering twelve to twenty hot meals.  Volunteer drivers are eligible for a free meal at the 1505 Avenue D meal site on the days they volunteer.

You  may volunteer daily, once a week, or serve as an on-call substitute.  Mileage is reimbursed or mileage may be donated for a tax deduction.

Contact the Alliance Volunteer Program at 406.245.6177 or by email for more information.
