Without our volunteers, we would not be able to achieve our mission. Volunteers help us with our day-to-day activities, which is essential to providing quality services. We value each and every one of our volunteers tremendously and so do the seniors we serve throughout Yellowstone County.

Volunteer Opportunities

* Billings Meals on Wheels

Do you have time to deliver a nutritious lunch, a smile and a few words of kindness and friendship to a homebound senior? Contact Jane at (406) 259.9666.

*Billings RIDES Program

RIDES volunteers use their own vehicles to provides non medical and non emergency rides to seniors with no alternative transportation. Contact Kathy D. at (406).259.9666.

*Senior Medicare Patrol

SMP helps seniors avoid unintended errors and detect deliberate abuses in Medicare. Volunteer opportunities include manning a health fair table, speaking to a group, showing a video or sitting down with someone to explain their Medicare statement. Contact Laura at (406).259.5212.

*Bookkeeping Assistance Program

Volunteers help seniors balance their checkbooks and assist with simple bill paying. Contact Laura at (406).259.5212. 

*Computer Instructors

Instruction would focus on keyboarding, mouse clicking, the internet, e-mailing and the basics of Word. Other topics may be addressed depending on the interest and skills of the students. Contact Pat at (406) 259.9666.

*Development Committee

Members of the Development Committee would be primarily responsible for 1) assisting the staff and the Board of Directors in establishing a donor base of individuals, corporations and foundations, including building relationships with donors and potential donors and 2) the identification and implementation of new fund development projects and activities.
