 RIDES Program

The RIDES Program provides non-emergency and non-medical rides for seniors with no alternative transportation. To use this program, a senior must be able to transfer into a private vehicle with minimal assistance. Volunteer drivers, who are certified through the Council on Aging, use their own vehicles to provide rides. A donation of $2.50 per round trip is recommended to help pay for program administration. Caregivers and/or family members are welcomed with prior notice. All rides are dependent upon driver availability.

Medical Cab Ride Program

The Medical Cab Ride Program provides non-emergency medical transportation for seniors who are comfortable riding in a cab. All program participants must first be certified through the Alliance.

Meal Site Cab Program

The Meal Site Cab Program provides transportation to seniors who wish to each lunch at one of Billings’ five meal sites. To use this program, a senior must first be certified through the Adult Resource Alliance. Program participants are required to attend the meal site closest to their home.

MET Special Transit

The Adult Resource Alliance contracts with Billings MET Special Transit to provide a limited number of medical rides each day for people 60 and over. Individuals wishing to use this program must first be certified through MET Transit. For additional information on this program  please call 406.248.8805.
